Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• High School completion required.

Requirements:

• Local & travel allowed.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
Experience focused on adult transthoracic echocardiography, including use of contrast agents and bubble echocardiography.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Transesophageal echocardiography and pediatric experience are a plus.

Required Credentials:
HS diploma or GED.
Successfully completed one vascular or echo registry (adult, pediatric, fetal) pertinent to the department (beyond physics).
Certification (one of the following): ARDMS (options include OB, abdominal, neuro, breast, and vascular); CCI—Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS); CCI—Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES).

Preferred Credentials:
Bachelor's degree. Education must be obtained from an accredited institution.

Unit Details:
The position is primarily focused on inpatient care.

Shift & Scheduling:
Variable day schedule includes weekends and weekdays.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certification RCS
