Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Unit Details:
The department serves both inpatients and outpatients.
The work includes performing transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms (exercise and pharmacologic).
Patients are positioned and equipment is adjusted to obtain optimal images.
The work includes analyzing ultrasound data and providing preliminary findings to physicians.
The work includes measuring cardiac structures and assessing heart function using Doppler and imaging techniques.
Contrast agents and agitated saline are administered when required.
Philips equipment is used for imaging.

Shift & Scheduling:
Monday through Friday only; no weekends.
No call.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certifications RCS, ACS, CI
