Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: 2D, Doppler, color flow, 3D, strain, and contrast studies.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Stress echo skills and interventional procedures preferred. IV management training preferred.
Required Credentials: RCS or ACS accepted in place of RDCS.
Unit Details: Fast-paced academic lab with a balance between portable and in-lab studies. Patient population includes heart failure, chemotherapy evaluation, and renal transplant evaluation patients. Procedures include comprehensive TTE, TEE, stress echo, Dobutamine stress echo, nuclear cardiology, and tilt table studies. Average volume: TTE/comprehensive studies 110/day across all areas; stress/stress echo/DobSE/NucCard/Tilt 14/day; TEE 5-6/day. Department equipment includes Philips and GE echo systems, GE CASE stress lab, and Philips ISCV reporting for echo.
Shift & Scheduling: Friday through Sunday weekend schedule. Holiday requirements dependent on unit needs. No call.
Floating Requirements: May float to satellite sites managed within Wake Region.
14 days maximum time off
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Certifications:
• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certifications RCS, ACS
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
