Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• BS completion required.

Requirements:

• This role will require floating to multiple locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
Must demonstrate technical competence for performance protocols specific to the department.

Required Credentials:
Bachelor's Degree. Education must be obtained from an accredited institution.
ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography is required.

Unit Details:
Prioritize and schedule exams, coordinating with medical staff, physician offices, other caregivers, and patients.
Perform ultrasound exams consistent with related protocols, with emphasis on patient safety, comfort, and quality outcomes.
Mentor caregivers and students on basic equipment use and procedural technique.

Shift & Scheduling:
Monday-Friday schedule.
No on-call.
No holidays.

Floating Requirements:
Work at all locations: Saint Joseph's, Platte Valley, Good Sam, and Lutheran; the schedule will try to keep the clinician at 1 location a day.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certifications RCS, ACS
