Experience:

• 3 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• This role will require floating to multiple locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Skills/Experience:
Allied clinicians that do not require a state license in hand must arrive 3 days prior to start for fingerprints.
Adult echo skills/experience required: 3-D Echo, Bubble Study, Imaging with Contrast Agents, M-Mode, Pharmacologic Stress Echo, Portable Studies, Routine, Treadmill Stress Echo.
Isolation precautions are required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Philips experience preferred.
Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Special Requests:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
RTO: Ideally no more than 5 days.
A parking permit is required; there is no cost.

Unit Details:
Patient population includes adolescents, infants, adults, pediatric patients, and geriatric patients.
Echo sonographers perform inpatient bedside echos, outpatient echos for SIU School of Medicine and Springfield Clinic, TEEs, stress echos, and structural heart procedures.
Uses Philips CVS machines and Siemens Syngo documentation system.
Average daily census: 30-50 pts per weekday.

Shift & Scheduling:
Shift options include 0700-1730 for 10 hour shifts and 0700 – 1530 for the 8 hour shifts.
Weekend coverage: <1 per 13 week contract.
Call required: ~ 1 day per week, 4-5 per 6 week schedule.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 2
