Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 24 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as a traveler at a facility in this program in the last 24 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: cumulative experience applies for previous travelers.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Unit Details:
Common imaging studies include transthoracic echocardiography.
Average of 8 studies per day: 6 outpatient and 2 inpatient.
Uses PACS.
Uses a Philips echo machine at Jefferson Medical Center.
IV starts are permitted if the clinician is able; otherwise, assistance may be requested.
A cardiologist reader of the day is available.
Floating Requirements:
The main location will be Jefferson Medical Center, but the clinician could be required to go to other locations: Berkeley Medical Center, WVU Heart and Vascular Institute Cedar Creek Grade Professional Building, and WVU Heart & Vascular Institute Dorothy McCormack Center. Berkeley Medical Center is another hospital; the other two sites see outpatients only.
Shift & Scheduling:
Monday-Friday schedule; weekends and holidays as scheduled.
There is a weekend call rotation from 7-1 on Saturday and Sunday.
A holiday on-call rotation is required.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver's license required for submission

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certification RCS
