Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

• 5 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Trauma Level 1 facility is required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <90 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Medical declinations accepted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: At least 2+ years of acute inpatient echo experience in a Trauma 1 level facility. Experience with transthoracic echocardiograms (TTEs), stress echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs), 3D echo, strain imaging, and ultrasound contrast agents.

Special Requests: Travel pairs are not accepted.

Unit Details: Busy inpatient echocardiography lab. Daily workload: 7-8 echocardiograms per day.

Shift & Scheduling: Rotating day shifts to include rotating weekends. Overnight call 5:30pm to 6:30am, 2-3 nights per month; strict guidelines and cardiologist approval required to be called in.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certifications RCS, ACS, CI

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
