Experience:

• 36 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of travel experience is required.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• This role will require floating to multiple locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Mayo Clinic Rochester.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Adult transthoracic echocardiography (TTE); inpatient, outpatient, and emergency echocardiography experience. Comprehensive understanding of cardiac hemodynamics, PISA quantification, strain, and simple pediatric indications (murmur, bicuspid AV, etc., 5 years old and older). Experience with Definity, Optison, and bubble studies (agitated saline). Proficient in scanning cardiac abnormalities, documenting findings correctly, and completing a full echo with report in 75 minutes.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience in adult and pediatric cardiac sonography including experience with transesophageal and stress echo preferred. Experience with outreach services helpful.

Required Credentials: One of the following is required: Associates degree. Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited sonography program.

Unit Details: Performs complete echocardiographic studies across cardiac echo imaging modalities. Stress lab and stress echo lab procedures; outreach services. Patient population spans neonate to geriatric, including simple pediatric indications ages 5 and older. Uses the Echo Information Management System and other necessary computer applications.

Shift & Scheduling: Mon-Fri varying shifts 7:00am-5pm. No weekends or call.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years

Certifications:

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certification RCS
