Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >80 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience: Adult experience is required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: 4-5 years’ experience is preferred but not required. Pediatric experience is a plus but not required.

Unit Details: The majority of the work is adult echocardiography involving Definity and agitated saline. Studies are performed in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The department is fast-paced and high-volume. Procedures include TEE, exercise stress echocardiography, and dobutamine stress echocardiography, if experienced and time permits. Uses Cupid, TOMTEC reporting, and PACS. The department uses six Philips echo machines, including EPIC 7, IE33, and CX50 models. Most hospital patients are studied at bedside. Case volume ranges from 5-8, averaging 7 cases. Staff may work alone at times.

Shift & Scheduling: The schedule is primarily days, with variable days and possible evening and weekend shifts. An 11-7 evening shift may be scheduled if the department is fully staffed and ready. Weekend coverage rotates; Saturday-only weekend shifts may be 10 hours. The department is staffed Monday through Sunday. On-call coverage varies based on staffing, is rotated with weekends and holidays, and is required when the department is not staffed.
