Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >80 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience: - Adult echocardiography experience is needed.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - 4-5 years’ experience preferred, not required. - Pediatric echocardiography experience is a plus but not required.

Unit Details: - The majority of the work is adult echocardiography using Definity and agitated saline. - Studies are performed in both inpatient and outpatient settings. - TEE, exercise stress, and dobutamine stress echocardiography are performed if experienced and time permitting. - The echo department is fast-paced and high-volume. - Staff sometimes work alone. - The department uses six Philips echo machines, including EPIC 7, IE33, and CX50 models. - Uses CUPID, TOM-TEC reporting, and PACS. - Most inpatient studies are performed at bedside. - Vascular or general sonography is not needed for this assignment. - Cases range from 5-8, averaging 7 cases.

Shift & Scheduling: - Day shifts have different begin and end times. - Weekend day shifts are part of a rotating weekend schedule. - The department is staffed Monday through Sunday. - Call is rotated on weeknights, weekends, and holidays; on-call coverage applies when the department is not staffed.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
