Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >80 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Adult echo experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: 4-5 years of experience preferred, not required. Pediatric experience is a plus, but not required.

Unit Details: Majority of the work is adult echo, including Definity and agitated saline studies. Performs inpatient and outpatient studies. May perform TEE, exercise stress, and dobutamine stress echo if experienced and time permitting. Fast-paced, high-volume echo department. Most hospital patients are done bedside. Staff may work alone at times. No vascular or general studies. Typically 5-8 cases, averaging 7. Uses Cupid, TomTec reporting, PACS, and Philips EPIC 7, IE33, and CX50 echo machines.

Shift & Scheduling: Variable day-shift start and end times. Rotating weekends and holidays. On-call weeknights and weekends; the department is staffed Monday-Sunday, with on-call when not staffed.

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certification RCS
