Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:

• 5 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <90 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Medical declinations accepted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
Experience performing transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms.
Comfortable starting IVs and administering Definity contrast.
Ability to work independently with minimal onboarding.

Required Credentials:
Graduate of an accredited School of Sonography or equivalent experience.
ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac sonography is required.

Special Requests:
Travel pairs are not accepted.

Unit Details:
Performs moderate-complexity echocardiographic exams independently and recognizes abnormal findings in an outpatient setting.
Expected daily volume is up to 7 full echocardiograms and 1 limited echocardiogram per day, including completion of prereads on all studies.
Philips EPIQ ultrasound systems are used; familiarity is preferred.

Floating Requirements:
Outpatient site will vary between Scarborough, Kennebunk, and Biddeford locations.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver's license required for submission

Certifications:

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certifications RCS, ACS
