Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• Travel experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.
• BS completion preferred.
Requirements:
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: - Must be able to administer ultrasound enhancement agents UEA Definity & Optison. - Agitated saline bubble studies. - Must be able to complete 7 scans per day. - Must meet expectations for pace and volume.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - IV Certification. - 2-3 years experience preferred. - Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Required Credentials: - Graduate of an ultrasonography program required. - ARDMS RDCS AE
Preferred Credentials: - Completion of a CAAHEP accredited ultrasonography training program preferred. - Bachelor’s degree in ultrasonography, radiology, biological sciences, or a relevant health sciences field preferred.
Unit Details: - TAVR echocardiogram; VAD echocardiogram R/L; ECMO echocardiogram; hypertrophic cardiomyopathy; strain 3D 4D echocardiogram; Mitral Clip follow-up echo; pericardial disease/pericardiocentesis; transplant patients including heart, lung, liver, and renal. - Adult and geriatric patient population. - Mixed inpatient and outpatient setting. - Care across the continuum in outpatient clinics, inpatient units, cath lab, and emergency department settings.
Shift & Scheduling: - Monday - Friday and rotational Saturday and Sunday shifts. - Variable start times: 700,730, 800,830,900 AM. - Possible call coverage, if needed.
Floating Requirements: - Float between main UWH Highland Avenue and could rotate to 2 clinics Arbor Gate & East Madison Clinic.
14 days maximum time off
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
1 reference required from within the last 3 years
Proof of identification required
Certifications:
• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certification RCS
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
