Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.

• BS completion preferred.

Requirements:

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - Ability to complete 7 scans per day. - Must meet expectations for pace and volume.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - IV certification preferred. - Would prefer 2-3 years experience. - Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Required Credentials: - Graduate of an ultrasonography program required.

Preferred Credentials: - Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited ultrasonography training program preferred. - Bachelor’s degree in Ultrasonography, Radiology, Biological Sciences, or a relevant health sciences field preferred.

Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric patient population. - Pediatric echo lab with pediatric transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography. - Care for patients from pediatrics through adulthood across the care continuum, including outpatient clinics, inpatient units, cath lab, and emergency department. - Performs agitated saline bubble studies and administers ultrasound enhancement agents UEA Definity and Optison. - Cases include TAVR echocardiograms, VAD echocardiograms, ECMO echocardiograms, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, strain 3D/4D echocardiograms, Mitral Clip follow-up echos, pericardial disease/pericardiocentesis, and transplant heart, lung, liver, and renal patients. - Hospital has a mix of inpatient and outpatient settings.

Shift & Scheduling: - Monday-Friday with staggered shift start times beginning at 0700 and then on the half hour until 0900. - Rotation on weekends to support coverage. - On-call rotation may be requested dependent on operational need.

Floating Requirements: - Float between main UWH Highland Avenue and may rotate to Arbor Gate and East Madison Clinic.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certifications RCS, ACS
