Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience worked in the last 12 months.
• Experience with Meditech is preferred.
• 12 months of acute care experience.
• High School completion required.
Requirements:
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Christus Health and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Christus Health.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: 2 years’ experience in the field of cardiovascular ultrasound and non-invasive procedures. Registered Vascular Sonographer granted by ARDMS or CCI, with at least two (2) years of echo experience.
Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 90 days must be explained. You may not concurrently work any other position or assignment while on contract at this facility. Candidates submitted must be fully available and committed to this single assignment. Travel pairs will not be considered. Temp to perm is a possibility
Unit Details: Primarily adult echo with occasional pediatric telemed. Average 6-8 echos per day. Performs echocardiograms, cardiac Doppler, and color flow mapping for outpatients and inpatients of all ages. Uses sonicated contrast within ACC and ASE guidelines. Assists with transesophageal echocardiograms and performs stress echocardiograms in all modalities. Performs and appropriately transmits pediatric echocardiograms. Uses Merge, or other reporting, system.
Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Friday. Weekend rotation every 5th week. On call 1 week every 5th week.
7 days maximum time off
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years
Proof of identification required
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certifications RCS, RVT, RVS
