Union Position
We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medicine Aide (CMA) to join our care team. In this role, you will support residents with daily living activities, administer medications safely, and help maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment. Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Provide basic nursing care under the supervision of a licensed nurse
Support residents’ comfort, safety, and emotional well-being
Help maintain a clean and safe environment
Safely prepare and administer medications (oral, topical, and suppository; non-narcotic only) as ordered by the physician
Accurately document medications administered
Monitor residents for medication side effects or concerns
Report any medication discrepancies to the Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing
High School Diploma, GED, or High School Certificate
Less than 1 year of experience required
Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply
Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) Certification
Certified Medicine Aide (CMA) Certification (CMT certification does not qualify)
BLS through American Heart Association (AHA) CPR & First Aid Certification
