Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
BridgingLife Hospice, a proud member of the Carroll Hospital / LifeBridge Health system, is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Clinical Educator to join our growing team. In this vital role, you will support the onboarding, continued education, and professional development of hospice staff—ensuring the highest quality of care for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments.
Collaborate with managers, HR, and IS to onboard new hires across clinical and non-clinical roles.
Assess orientation needs and develop individualized education plans based on each employee's discipline and experience.
Act as a mentor, consultant, and resource for clinical teams, encouraging critical thinking and evidence-based practice.
Work with Clinical Leads to coordinate Joint Clinical meetings and develop new educational content and processes.
Oversee certification tracking and support associates in achieving and maintaining required credentials.
Identify education needs through data-driven analysis, quality initiatives, regulatory requirements, and department goals.
Design, implement, and evaluate training programs using principles of adult learning, cultural awareness, and clinical competency.
Deliver engaging education sessions, including skill fairs, and maintain attendance records for regulatory compliance.
Serve as Chair of the Patient/Family Education Committee and WellSky Committee, ensuring agendas, minutes, and outcomes are documented and communicated effectively.
Actively participate in strategic planning as a member of the hospice leadership team.
Serve on internal committees including:
Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI)
Protocol Committee
Leadership Committee
Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee
IS Meeting
HPCNM Education and Outreach Committee
Registered Nurse (RN) – Must hold a current Maryland license or be eligible for licensure in Maryland.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
Master’s degree preferred; if not currently held, must be obtained within 4 years of hire.
Minimum of 3–5 years of hospice nursing experience required.
Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
Knowledge of adult learning principles, clinical education development, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
