** Monday - Friday / 8 hour shifts with rotating weekends**

Job Summary and Qualifications

The WOC nurse serves as a clinical resource and consultant for the acute and rehabilitative care of patients with selected disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary and integumentary systems such as acute and chronic wounds (i.e. complex draining wounds, fistulae, pressure ulcers, and vascular ulcers), ostomies, percutaneous tubes and continence disorders. Professional responsibilities are carried out through direct patient care, clinical coordination, education, research and administration.

What qualifications you will need:
    • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
    • (RN) Registered Nurse
    • Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree
    • Two years recent clinical experience within the Emergency Department environment in an acute care facility
    • Prefer prior experience as an Educator
    •  Successful completion of a WOCN approved educational program
    •  Certification by the WOCNCB; 3 specialties CWOCN or 2 specialties CWON.
