About the Role:
Under the general supervision of the AVP of Operations, LBHMG supports all efforts to implement care delivery systems in the ambulatory setting that are safe, timely, effective, equitable, efficient and patient centered. Provides ambulatory LifeBridge Health Medical Group (LBHMG) staff with professional development expertise as an educator, change agent, leader, and consultant. Works alongside medical directors, operations managers and service line leaders to advance and standardize clinical operations throughout the system within a culture of quality, safety and efficiency. Ensures timely access to services, clinics and physicians to support patient progression across the continuum of care. Designs and advances clinical staff education, protocols and development programs across the medical group in line with system practice, quality metrics and evidenced based protocols. Directly manage the clinical operations supervisors in their work and monitors their performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Works as a member of the Medical Group Leadership Team to develop and ensure the successful completion of Medical Group goals, objectives and system aims for improving quality and safety.
- Directs all education process for clinical staff including Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Medical Assistants (MAs), and other clinical support staff within the LBHMG, directly or through a partnership with LBH clinical education department.
- Provides leadership, mentors and coaches practice leaders and staff.
- Promotes professional growth, critical thinking and effective alignment of each practice and service line.
- Ensures adherence to policies and procedures as well as compliance with external licensing, accreditation and regulatory bodies.
- Ensures the establishment of employee work groups, providing a framework for employee participation in clinical decision-making.
- Designs, implements, and monitors systems necessary for management of patient care in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Establishes annual and long-term goals and strategic plans for division/department; develops and revises supporting programs, plans and services.
- Leads the development and implementation of the clinical education programs in order to promote excellence in clinical practice and the performance of a highly competent clinical support team.
- Functioning as partner for the Director of Primary Care, assesses long term capital and operational needs and ensures plans are in place to address these needs.
- Develops and/or recommends business plans for proposed and existing programs in collaboration with others. d reviewing work.

Education: Master of Science in Nursing

Licensure/Certification: Maryland RN license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR
