Critical Care Float Pool - Travel Registered Nurse - $1740 per week.

Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.
• 3 months of travel experience is required.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred.
• BSN completion preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a District of Columbia license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health.

Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If clinician has questions, please email the AM.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience Alarm management.
Preferred Skills/Experience Previous Charge Experience: Preferred Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Required Credentials You must have DC license in hand, but certain units accept pending (see JD). MedStar will usually accept a later booking date if you have applied for DC licensure.
Unit Details Overflow MICU/SICU. Procedures and unit details include EGD, bronchoscopy, Swann, and traction. Patient population includes general SICU and MICU, Neuro ICU, vascular, trauma, and thoracic overflow.
Shift & Scheduling Variable 12-hour shifts: 07:00-19:30 or 19:00-07:30. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Every other weekend. Holidays as needed.
Floating Requirements Critical care float pool nurses are assigned out of the staffing office and may be assigned to MICU, SICU, Neuro ICU, CVICU, CVSICU, IMC units, and ED/PACU to care for ICU/IMC boarders across the house.
7 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
