Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• Travel experience is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System.

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
Special Requests: - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - The facility may make one-off exceptions for previous employees, but exceptions must be approved by St. Luke’s Health System. - At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. - We try to block schedule but cannot guarantee it.
Unit Details: - Uses Epic. - Critical care float pool covers ICUs at Boise, Meridian, and Nampa; Nampa generally has lower-acuity ICU patients. - Typical ICU nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:1-2. - Will be required to titrate drips. - ICU clinicians must read and interpret telemetry.
Shift & Scheduling: - No self-scheduling. - Weekends as needed. - Holiday requirements as needed. - No call or standby requirement.
Floating Requirements: - RNs float only within their specialty and will not float to a lower-acuity area. - May float across Boise, Meridian, and Nampa facilities and can be assigned as a 1:1 sitter in any area. - Travelers are first to float and may float mid-shift at any time based on unit needs. - Hospital and unit assignments are communicated via app 1 hour before shift starts.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
