Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 22 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.

• Travel experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

OSU requires all fingerprints to be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract for an OSU assignment. This is a client requirement, and timely completion is essential to maintaining the assignment and avoiding delays, pushes or cancellations.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Teaching hospital experience is required.
• Medical Intensive Care Unit experience is required.
• Neuro Intensive Care Unit experience is required.
• Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience is required.
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias is required.
• Management of dysrhythmias is required.
• Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure is required.
• Ability to obtain a 12-lead EKG/ECG is required.
• Post-cardiac surgery experience is required; experience must not be directly from the OR. Required Credentials:
• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program. Special Requests:
• WMC monthly parking permit: $224.80/month or $748.58 per 100 days, with access to the Wexner Medical Center Garage.
• WB annual parking permit: $196.20/year. West Campus Carmack Lots 2 and 3 are approximately 1.7 miles from the medical center; the Pink Shuttle runs every 3–5 minutes during peak times and reaches the medical center in approximately 8–9 minutes.
• CXS annual parking permit: $393.96/year, with access to the 9th Avenue East and West Garages on weekends and holidays and Buckeye CX and West Campus lots 24/7.
• WB and CXS permits require annual payment upfront and are not available as monthly permits.
• WB weekend garage access is available from Friday at 2:00 p.m. through Monday at 8:00 a.m.; outside those hours, regular hourly garage rates apply. Unit Details:
• Adult patient population.
• The unit cares for kidney, liver, lung, and heart transplant patients. Floating Requirements:
• Floating includes MICU (two units), SICU, NCCU/Neuro ICU, CVICU, and Cardiology/Cardiology Diagnostics within The Ohio State System; floating may extend throughout the organization if there is no need in Critical Care. Shift & Scheduling:
• Every other weekend.

14 days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction: 7 days

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 2 years
