The ICU does not take patients requiring Rotoprone, manual proning, hypothermia protocol, CRRT, TPA, or flap surgeries.
The ICU does not take craniotomy, major trauma, or major cardiothoracic patients.
PCU patients include respiratory compromise, sepsis, renal failure, bleeding disorders, general medical/surgical patients, CHF, COPD, pneumonia, general cases, and orthopedic cases.
Med-surg populations include neutropenic and postoperative oncology patients, psychiatric patients, general medical-surgical patients with postoperative needs, COPD, CHF, sepsis, DVT, AKI, dialysis, and COVID; orthopedic patients with total joints, postsurgical care, and general medical overflow; and palliative patients with pneumonia, sepsis, CHF, COPD, AKI, DVT, PE, occasional surgical cases, and COVID.
