Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Critical Care Float Pool experience.
• Travel experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is required with 1 month within the last 24 months (2 years).
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Vermont license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.
• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - Experience with hemodynamic devices, multisystem disease, CRRT, IABP, ECMO, COVID-19, ventilators, and multiple drips is required. - Experience in a large (500+ bed) teaching facility is required.
Special Requests: - Employment gaps over 90 days must be explained. - Public transportation is not accessible in this area; please ensure you have reliable transportation, and a personal vehicle or rental vehicle is strongly recommended. - Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April.
Unit Details: - The assignment is primarily based in the Medical ICU, with overflow to neuro. - Typical patient populations include post-cardiac surgery, vascular, Level I trauma, general surgery, neurosurgery, and overflow MICU patients. - The RN will start IVs, maintain and manage multiple titrating drips, and provide critical ventilator care.
Shift & Scheduling: - Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day. - Schedule may include Monday through Sunday. - A minimum of every other weekend is required, and the schedule may be adjusted to meet the needs of the unit and patient care; clinicians must be flexible with the schedule.
Floating Requirements: - Floating is required, with travelers floating first, to units within the central ICU pool and to areas outside the candidate’s pod, including units of like skill and ability, ED boarders, possible surge areas, SICU, Miller 3, and Miller 4.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
