Critical Care Float Pool - Travel Registered Nurse - $3020 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 years, 10 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.

• Travel experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Nursys verification must be dated within 14 days of the submission date, showing a valid CA RN license.

Return staff/travelers: no separation time required; former manager(s) name must be included on the application

Shift & Scheduling:
Day/night rotation as needed: 0700-1930/1900-0730.
No on-call.
Weekend rotation required.

Floating Requirements:
CPMC RN is a true full-float position among CPMC Van Ness, CPMC Mission Bernal, and CPMC Davies; a different campus may be assigned for each shift, although mid-shift floating is very rare.
Float to the ICU and each campus's step-down unit (Van Ness and Davies have TICUs; Mission Bernal has a PCU).
If neither ICU nor TICU is needed, float as an ICU boarder RN to any of the three EDs; any MST floor at any of the three campuses is the last option.
The campuses are about 15 minutes apart and connected by shuttle transport. Travelers will be notified 2 hours before their start time where they should report.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027, 05/31/2027, 07/04/2027, 09/06/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
