Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience within the past 4 years.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• 12 months between Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (WA) CommonSpirit Health

• 12 months between Per Diem at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (WA) CommonSpirit Health

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.

For positions that require radiation exposure, clinicians are required to purchase their own OSL Luxel dosimeter badge.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Needs to have two years of ICU experience and able to take Swans, IABP and Impella with ability to float to MedSurg to take a full assignment.
  • RNs required to titrate drips (in ED, Critical Care and PCU units): Sedation, vasoactive medications, paralytics.
  • Must be able to read tele strips.

Types of Patients on Unit: Any depending on unit assigned to.

Unit Details: Ratios -1:1, 1:2 for ICU, 1:3-4 for PCU or ED or 1:5-6 for lower acuity MedSurg.

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Every other weekend. Would consider every weekend.
  • Holiday required.

Floating Requirements: Units included in the float pool: ICU, ED Boarders (In-patients only), all MedSurg units, Observation unit.

Facility holidays: 01/01/2025, 11/27/2025, 12/25/2025. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required for submission

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
