Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 36 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.

• 12 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

• Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Skills required: ICP monitoring, PA Catheters, Procedural Sedation.
• Any charting.
• Skills: Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Management of dysrhythmias, IV therapy, Arterial line management, Central line care/management, Medications, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Respiratory/Thoracic, Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Professional Topics and Skills, Isolation Precautions/ Use of PPE

Required Credentials: Must pass a Tele Test at orientation to remain on assignment.

Preferred Credentials: Drivers License or ID with address required.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends required.

Floating Requirements: Float Pool position to float down to (DOU/PCU, MED SURG, TELE) and required to float between Escondido/Poway campus and each level of care based on need.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/27/2025, 12/25/2025, 01/01/2026. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
