Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 12 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.
• 6 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
• Respiratory/Thoracic, Care of Ventilated Patient, Ventilator Management, Medications, Continuous IV sedation, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias
• Must have exp with peds for ED float.
Required Credentials: At least one reference must be within the last year. The second is considered acceptable if it is within the last 2 years.
Unit/Facility Details:
• NP ratio ICU 1:2, ED/CSC day 1:4, ED/CSC night 1:5
• Drivers License/State ID: Copy of Passport, driver’s license or government issued ID is required.
Special Requests: Labs must be completed within 48 hours of booking assignment – completed no later than 5 business days.
Shift & Scheduling: Every 3rd weekend.
Floating Requirements: Will float to ICU, ED, and cardiac stroke center (CSC)
10 days maximum time off
2 references from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
