Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System.

Additional Details:

Clinicians who obtained their RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold a MO, IL, or Compact license require an extended licensing and compliance timeframe. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience - Vents, IV start, Tele, Conscious Sedation required. - 2 years ICU experience required, plus a minimum of 1 year CV ICU experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience - Swans-hemodynamic interpretation. - IABP, Impella, ECMO. - Vasoactive drips. - CRRT. - Triage, ICP, and PA lines preferred.

Special Requests - No medical marijuana cards accepted.

Unit Details - Adult and geriatric patient population; rare adolescent patients are adult size/weight and 16-18 years old. - Ratio: 2:1 on ICUs for all shifts.

Shift & Scheduling - Every other weekend required with a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule. - Holiday rotation.

Floating Requirements - Floating to multiple ICUs including Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac / Heart and Vascular, Neurology, Medicine, and COVID. - If there are no ICU needs, clinicians will be expected to float to floors as a staff nurse; the nursing office staffs Oncology, Neurology, Med Surg, Medicine, Trauma, Heart and Vascular, and COVID. - Will float to inpatient floors when needed with ratio of no more 1:3. Will float to non-critical care units if census is low in ICU, and may be utilized as a patient sitter if needed.

Details:

AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

7 days maximum time off
