Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 22 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.

• Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. IV Start Telemetry Ventilator management experience

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Special Requests: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Can not apply to any Ohio State University facilities, if you have an active application to any of the James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Nights F/S and +one during week

Floating Requirements: Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs (MICU x2), Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU / MICU / NCCU

• Medical Intensive Care Unit, Neuro Intensive Care Unit, Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Cardiovascular, Post Cardiac Surgery (Not directly from the OR), Medications, Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Neurological, CVA/Acute Stroke management, Respiratory/Thoracic, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Endocrine/Metabolic, IV insulin protocols, Gastrointestinal, GI surgery, Genitourinary/Renal, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, IV therapy, Accessing/Managing Ports, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Professional Topics and Skills, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Phlebotomy

Preferred Skills/Experience: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Sheath Removal, Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade, External ventricular drain (EVD), ICP monitoring, Lumbar drains, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal

14 days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction: 7 days
