Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 36 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.

• 3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

• 60 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from any number of months

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Massachusetts license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - UMASS Memorial and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - UMASS Memorial.

Preferred Credentials: TCAR preferred.

Special Requests: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Must complete 2 pass/fail exams during orientation: a medication exam and a telemetry exam. Both exams allow 1 attempt. If they do not pass, the contract is canceled immediately. Study materials are provided between the compliance process and FDIs. First-time travelers accepted only with many years of ICU experience.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend/holiday rotation. All call outs must be made up at the end of the assignment.

Floating Requirements: Float between all adult ICUs and step-down units, including surgical, cardiac, trauma, medical, and neuro ICUs. Must be able to work in any assigned unit. Will not be assigned to post cardiac surgery, balloon pump, Impella, transplant, or EVD patients.

Details:

AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
