Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO).

Required Skills/Experience:
2 year plus CVOR Surgical Technologist experience in a hospital setting; 1 year cardiothoracic experience, needs open heart experience
2 year plus Surgical Technologist experience in a hospital setting, Open Heart & Thoracic procedures
Preferred Skills/Experience: ECMO, Impella insertion, Robotics, CABG, Valve Replacement, VATS, Robotics, Lung Resection, Aortic Aneurysm Repair
Required Credentials: CORST, CST or TSC - must be certified
Shift & Scheduling:
May be required to work differing schedules, shifts, days of the week, or work frequency of the week, or work frequency according to patient requirements
Will be scheduled between 0600-1900
Weekend Hours: As required by facility
Call Requirements: rotational night, weekend, and holiday call. On call consists of – 1-2 nights per week and one weekend per month (4 week schedule period). May pick up extra call if desired.
5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 05/25/2026, 07/04/2026, 09/07/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
