Fusion Dental – Eldersburg is excited to welcome a Dental Hygienist to our growing team! We are a two‑doctor practice led by Dr. Dhanda and Dr. Loyola, who have practiced together for nearly three years after attending dental school together. Both doctors are well established in the practice and are deeply committed to long‑term growth, stability, and team success.
We currently have five hygienists and are expanding due to continued patient demand—this is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, collaborative, and patient‑focused practice.

Schedule & Hours
- Monday–Friday (Weekdays only)
- Full‑time: ~40 hours/week
- Schedule options include:
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Some flexibility available depending on candidate availability
- 60‑minute lunch breaks
Appointment Times
- 60‑minute adult prophylaxis appointments
- 90‑minute new patient appointments
- Schedules designed to allow for thorough care and meaningful patient education

Position Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality preventive and periodontal care
- Perform comprehensive periodontal assessments
- Educate patients on oral health and home‑care techniques
- Collaborate closely with doctors and team members
- Build long‑term, trusting relationships with patients
Qualifications
- Active Maryland Dental Hygiene license
- Passion for patient education and quality care

With the support of a practice manager, a highly trained team on site, coupled with a vast network of experts across the nation, you’ll be completely connected to all the resources and support of Heartland Dental.

Minimum Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Maryland and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
- 0 years of clinical experience
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
- Clinical needs as required by office
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
