Director of Palliative Care and Advanced Practice Providers- NP

Our Director of Palliative Care and Advanced Practice Providers- NP will provide clinical oversight of the Palliative and Hospice Advance Practice Providers as well as provide operational leadership and expertise on all Palliative Care services. The goal is to proactively identify opportunities to enhance the patient and family experience by improving the efficiency and effectiveness of resource utilization while ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, accrediting body regulations, and clinical policies and procedures.
What you'll do:
Provide clinical and operational oversight of Hospice and Palliative Care Advance Practice Providers.
Lead the development, review, and implementation of Palliative Care clinical protocols in collaboration with Hospice leadership.
Facilitate regular operational and administrative meetings for the Palliative Care and Hospice Advanced Practice Provider programs.
Identify educational needs and develop targeted training initiatives for Advance Practice Providers.
Direct onboarding and ongoing training for Hospice and Palliative Care Advanced Practice Providers.
What we're looking for:
Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician with a current, unrestricted state license and good standing with the applicable medical or nursing board.
Minimum of three (3) years of Palliative Care clinical experience and one (1) year of leadership experience preferred. Hospice experience preferred.
Experience with quality improvement methodology, preferred.
Excellent knowledge of Hospice Medicare Conditions of Participation.
Good knowledge of Hospice state licensure regulations, preferred.
