Shift: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 2 years within the last 36 months (3 years).

• High School completion required.

Requirements:

• Local & travel allowed.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Johns Hopkins (Direct) Program - Main and no current placement allowed at Program: Johns Hopkins (Direct) Program - Main.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Endoscopy Technician experience. Experience assisting with a variety of endoscopic procedures, including ERCP, gastric sleeve, and other advanced GI procedures. Knowledge of endoscopic equipment reprocessing, infection prevention standards, and procedural support. Completion of Endoscopy Technician training coursework or at least 1 year of healthcare experience (e.g., Health Care Assistant or Clinical Associate) and procedural support experience may be considered.

Unit Details: Advanced GI procedures include ERCP and gastric sleeve cases. Duties include preparing the procedure room, selecting and organizing equipment, assisting the physician, participating in orderly and efficient room turnover, and preparing and maintaining endoscopic equipment, including cleaning and disinfection of endoscopic equipment and cleaning and sterilization of accessory equipment.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Friday schedule. Holiday on-call coverage required. Weekend on-call rotation required. Minimum of 7 on-call shifts per month.

14 days maximum time off

2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

Certifications:

• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)) or the alternative certifications CORST, NCORST, NCST, NCST, NRCST, TS-C
