Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• Certificate completion required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials:
Diploma/certificate from an ultrasound college/school.
All sonographers must be certified and currently registered in one of the following: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics (OB), or Vascular (RVT); Cardiovascular Credentialing International Registered Vascular Specialist (CCI-RVS); or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Sonography (S) or (VS).

Preferred Credentials:
Multiple sonography certification areas preferred.

Unit Details:
Ultrasound procedures include imaging for heart disease, pregnancy, and cancer.
Provides direct patient care, including assessing patient condition and ability to cooperate, positioning patients and equipment, preparing patients for procedures, monitoring and recording vital signs, and observing for reactions or signs of impending complications.
Supervises and mentors ultrasound personnel.
Uses Mach7 PACS.
Special equipment includes Toshiba Aquilion, 64 Slice.

Shift & Scheduling:
On-call is required 3x per week after each shift from 0730pm-7am; weekend coverage includes US on-call from 1931-0700 and MRI coverage from 0800-1700.
Holiday coverage is required in December.

Floating Requirements:
You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver's license required
