Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• No current placement allowed at Program: TrioWFS Program - UnityPoint Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience First-time travelers are accepted if they have 2 years of ULT experience. General/abdomen experience required. Non-high-risk OB/GYN experience required. Vascular experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience Experience assisting with fine needle aspirations, paracentesis, and thoracentesis procedures is preferred, but not required.

Special Requests Past UnityPoint employees who are FTE or PRN in the UPH float pool, or who currently work or have worked in those roles within the past 12 months, are not eligible to work travel in another market. This does not apply to prior UPH travel staff. Contractors are required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s), unless the unit is closed.

Unit Details Average 15 scans per day. Patient population includes general, OB/GYN, and vascular patients. Proficiency needed in abdomen/RUQ with liver vessel evaluation, kidneys and bladder, pelvis (transabdominal and transvaginal), 1st trimester OB (transabdominal and transvaginal), testicle/scrotum evaluation, DVT/venous evaluation of both arms and legs, ABIs, thyroids, aortas, carotids, and limited 2nd/3rd trimester OBs (BPP, measurements, and fluid checks).

Shift & Scheduling Fri, Sat, Sun. No call.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission
