Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
Must have general studies, vascular, and obstetrics.
Must have outpatient, neonates, and biopsies.
Community hospital experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
2 years of experience preferred.
Peds / GE Peds experience preferred.

Preferred Credentials:
Pediatric RDMS preferred.

Unit Details:
1 patient per hour.
Equipment includes portable GE-brand equipment, PACS, and SonoSite.
Patient population includes neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and ER patients.
Common diagnoses/treatments include abdominal, pelvic, ectopic, scrotal, thyroid, some carotids, paracentesis, FNA, thoracentesis, and some OB.
Writes preliminary notes on each case.

Shift & Scheduling:
Call is required one weekday per week and every fourth weekend; call coverage includes holidays, and call shifts may vary based on staffing needs (Monday-Friday until either 6:00 PM or 8:00 PM).
No more than two weeks off during the contract period is preferred.

Floating Requirements:
Float to Rumford Hospital and Bridgton Hospital.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager reference required from within the last 2 years
