Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as a traveler at a facility in this program in the last 3 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Skills/Experience: 6 months of pediatric experience is required. Vascular procedure experience is required. Ultrasound procedure experience is required. Portables, inpatient, ER, PICU, NICU, and neonatal experience are required.

Shift & Scheduling: Shift lengths may be 8, 10, or 12 hours. Day shift windows are 8:00-18:00 or 10:00-20:00. Up to 3 weeks of night shifts may be required. Weekend coverage is required for up to 4 weekends. Must be available for holidays if the unit needs coverage; for example, may need to work Labor Day weekend. Call required: Possible.

Floating Requirements: Floating is required from the main unit to the ER, with possible portable studies and assignments to the OR or ICU.

Unit Details: Patient population includes neonates, infants, and pediatric patients. The unit includes full general pediatric and vascular ultrasound services, including DVT studies, post-PICC-line studies, internal jugular studies, peripheral vascular studies, emergency department cases such as appendicitis and testicular evaluations, ICU portable studies, and liver, kidney, and multivisceral transplant studies. The unit uses Rad Net.

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certification RVT
