Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials:
Associate or bachelor's degree from a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA)-accredited sonography program or equivalent.

Preferred Credentials:
CRASE training. If travel assignment extends beyond a 6-month period, CRASE training will be required.

Unit Details:
Performs diagnostic sonography procedures in OB/GYN, abdominal, breast, vascular, and small-parts imaging.
Assists licensed practitioners with interventional procedures, including verifying informed consent and applying aseptic technique.
May prepare, identify, and/or administer contrast media or medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner, where permitted by state statute or institutional policy.
Selects and operates ultrasound equipment and associated devices.

Shift & Scheduling:
The schedule is Thursday-Saturday.

Floating Requirements:
Agency nurses will be floated to other departments where they are qualified to perform patient care before core staff is floated.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
