Shift: 7:00 PM - 5:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Meditech is required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as a traveler at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Experience in transplants, Dopplers, and renal artery stenosis is required.

Travelers who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health as permanent or per diem staff within the last six months will not be accepted; they must be separated from the facility for six months to be considered.

Unit Details: Performs abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, and some vascular ultrasound exams. Assists physicians with sterile invasive procedures, including amniocenteses, cyst punctures, thoracenteses, and biopsies. Records images on PACS and provides preliminary interpretations in the daily logbook, with possible communication to requesting physicians after discussion with a radiologist. Uses the Trophon EPR system for high-level disinfection of intracavitary ultrasound transducers.

Shift & Scheduling: The schedule is Thursday-Sunday, with occasional weekday night coverage for vacation and holiday coverage. No call is required. No more than 1 week of time off will be approved.

Floating Requirements: Performs functions outside the Ultrasound Suite, including in the OR, intensive care units, Emergency Department, and nursing floors, using portable ultrasound equipment.
