Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Tahoe Forest Hospital District.

Required Skills/Experience: 2 – 5 years of ultrasound experience (breast imaging experience). Experience performing sonography in the specialties of obstetrics, gynecology, abdominal, small parts and guidance procedures.

Unit Details: Covers breast imaging and general ultrasound. Limited procedures: thyroid and lymph node biopsies, drain placements, OBGYN. Emergency ultrasound; all hours work with the ER. Uses duplex doppler, color flow, 2D, 3D & 4D imaging, post processing, and Sequoia, Phillips, and Canon equipment.

Shift & Scheduling: 7:30am – 6pm. Block shift. Rotating weekends and rotating call. Call 1 or 2 nights a week midnight – 6am. No formal overnight shifts; accommodations are offered for overnight call.

14 days maximum time off
