Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Experience:
• 36 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred.
Requirements:
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - IU Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - IU Health.
• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Aya Program - IU Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - IU Health.

Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: - Teaching hospital experience is required. - Must know liver and kidney doppler extremely well due to the liver/kidney transplant population.
Required Credentials: - Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program. - RDMS-AB required.
Special Requests: - First-time travelers accepted. - If a traveler calls in for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to make up the day during the pay period if a 0.9 FTE; if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract; if a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract. - Local travelers accepted for allied positions. Indiana residents are considered local. - IU Health will not allow Indiana RNs to work at their facilities. Exceptions include Periop/OR RNs, allied, and ambulatory RN travelers. Periop includes Endo, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, and SDS.
Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric patient population. - Very liver-specialized unit with liver/kidney transplant population. - High volume of venous doppler for both arms and legs, liver biopsies, neck/thyroid FNA, and liver/kidney transplant biopsies. - No ER. - Does not perform vascular arterial extremity dopplers. - Uses Phillips and Siemens equipment.
Shift & Scheduling: - Mon-Fri. - Call required: 1 day a week and every 4th or 5th weekend from Sat 7a- Sun7a and Sun 7a- Mon7a.
Floating Requirements: - Average 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
