Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO).
• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO).

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - Must be fluent in vascular studies.
Required Credentials: - OBGYN and ABD required.
Unit Details: - Provides diagnostic sonograms for radiologist interpretation; covers ED, inpatient, and outpatient ultrasound. - Typically 8-12 exams per day. - Uses GE S8, E9, and E10 ultrasound machines, Parks Flow Lab, and trophon for high-level disinfection.
Shift & Scheduling: - Mon-Fri; shifts may be 6:30a - 3p or 7:00a - 3:30p. - Weekend on-call rotation. - Call 4p-7a; must take at least one day weekly Mon - Thurs.
5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 09/07/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026, 01/01/2027, 05/31/2027, 07/04/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required
Certifications:
• RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS))
• RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist (ARDMS))
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
