Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• Certificate completion required.
Requirements:
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health and no current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health.

Required Credentials: - Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted. - One of the following is required: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Abdomen (RDMS-AB), Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Obstetrics and Gynecology (RDMS-OB/GYN), Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Breast (RDMS-BR), Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Fetal Echocardiography (RDMS-FE), Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Neurosonology Registrant (RDMS-NE), or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Pediatric Sonography (RDMS-PS).
Required Credentials: - Associate’s degree in Sonography or Radiology. - Certificate of completion of a Radiologic Technology program.
Unit Details: - Performs routine and specialized ultrasound examinations, adapts procedures to obtain specific diagnostic and/or therapeutic results, and prepares patients for examinations under the direction of a radiologist. - Assigned patients of all ages. - Assesses the abdominal arterial and venous system using color imaging. - Invasive procedures include setting up trays with a sterile field for the radiologist, assisting with biopsy, and ordering labs and pathology tests under the direction of a radiologist. - Uses all ultrasound equipment within the Medical Imaging Ultrasound department.
Shift & Scheduling: - Mon-Fri. - Holiday rotation. - Rotating backup call every 3-4 weekends.
Floating Requirements: - Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. - The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.
7 days maximum time off. Maximum consecutive days off: 3
