Intensive Care Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Preferred 12 months of Intensive Care Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a South Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months between Staff at Program: SimpliFi Program - Monument Health

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• ICU experience EXCLUDING travel experience is most preferred.
• Experience with the different type of patients.
• Experience with IV medications (vasopressors, sedation, paralytics), hemodynamic lines, proning, ventilator management, telemetry, strong critical thinking and assessment skills, working well in team setting, comfortable in fast pace setting with all critical patients.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Impella, IABP and CRRT.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend rotation: Every other-but not guaranteed

Floating Requirements: Not common unless overstaffed. Could float to any adult floor – including Medsurg/Tele with 1:4 ratio. Confirm traveler comfortability during interview.
