Intensive Care Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience.

• 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

If you want to take 4-7 days off, you must be willing to make up that time. You must fulfill the full 13 week contract.

Required Credentials:

• EKG onboarding exam, Advanced Math, Med/Pharmacology exam, General ICU competency exam, General ICU skills, CORE exams
• License Hits: University of Kentucky WILL NOT accept any licensure hits. If you are submitting a traveler with a license hit, the submission will be rejected.

Equipment Used on Unit: ICU mechanical ventilation, arterial lines, vasoactive drip management, sedation, chest tubes, flotrac, etc.

Previous Employment Requirements: Return Staff Policy: Gone for 90 days to return as traveler

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 01/01/2025, 01/20/2025, 05/26/2025, 07/04/2025, 09/01/2025, 11/27/2025, 12/25/2025. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 references from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
