Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience.
• Travel experience is required from any number of months.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.
Additional Details:
If declining flu vaccination- must complete on facility specific form.
Must be able to start within 3 weeks from the job’s listed start date.
Previous Employment Requirements: Recent ICU Charge/Manager RN References
Required Skills/Experience: 2+ years experience in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU
Must have experience with CRRT and Prismaflex
Preferred Skills/Experience: Charge Nurse Experience
Heart experience highly preferred
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Neuro/Med -Strokes, Sepsis, AMS, Neuro Intervention (TCAR), Resp Failure, CHF, Post Stemi CTICU- CV surg, Cardiogenic Shock, AAA Surg/Trauma- Trauma, Major post-op sx
Equipment Used on Unit: IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage) Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM (Artic Sun)
Unit/Facility Details: Beds: 42 beds (East 20, West 22), Neuro/Med: 22, CTICU: 6, Surg/Trauma: 14
Special Requests: Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
Shift & Scheduling: On-Call: No
Floating Requirements: To all units except Behavioral and ER (unless holding)
7 days maximum time off
2 references from last 2 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
