Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

IV therapy, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Respiratory/Thoracic, Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management, Genitourinary/Renal, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, Medications, Continuous IV sedation, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Neurological, Professional Topics and Skills, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Phlebotomy, Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Endocrine/Metabolic, IV insulin protocols, and Cardiovascular, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), CVA/Acute Stroke management, Post Cardiac Surgery (Not directly from the OR), Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, and Transcatheter Aortic Valve implantation/Replacement (TAVI/TAVR)*.
Special Requests: Able to be scheduled for 50% of holidays encountered during contract. All RTO must be submitted at time of submission – no exceptions. Must work 50% of holidays during contract.
Shift & Scheduling: Shift every weekend on CICU (Fri, Sat, Sunday night). Call Required: Yes. Weekend Coverage: Every Other.
Floating Requirements: Can be floated within med-surg cluster. ICU Cluster and MS & MS/Tele (1:4). Floating is mandatory – all travelers must float, including as Patient Observers (Sitters). Float Guidelines:
ICU may float to PCU or MS units
PCU may float to MS or ICU units
MS may float to MS/Tele
Pediatrics may float anywhere in the organization as a Patient Observer (sitter)
Post-Partum may float to MS units
L&D may float within Maternal/Child
7 days maximum time off
