Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 12 months of Intensive Care Unit experience.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >30 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.

Additional Details:
Required Credentials: A badge photo for facility ID must be provided for submission. Certification requirements: AHA or RQI specifically. Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire. CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Credentials: Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association is recommended within 2 years of hire. TNCC recommended within 2 years of hire.
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to his or her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed by pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient group.
Unit/Facility Details: All travelers report to Geneva General Hospital for orientation. Phone prescreen must be completed by clinician in order to receive offer. Please be aware to answer calls from 520 area code.
Special Requests: RTO must be submitted with application for approval. Holiday RTO is not guaranteed.
Shift & Scheduling: Contract must run through holiday season. No guaranteed RTO for the 3 major holidays. 7a-7p/7p-7a - D/N/W, every other weekend, holiday + 2 OC shifts per 4 weeks.
Reminder - No On Call if taking 48-hour contract
Floating Requirements: Must be willing to float at Finger Lakes Health facilities only.
7 days maximum time off
2 references from any number of months (Any reference type) - required for submission
